Robin Hood Homes, LLC ("Robin Hood Homes", "we", "us") is a California limited liability company wholly owned by Strategic Solutions, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based at 12697 Graton Rd., Sebastopol, CA 95472. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through this website (robinhoodhomes.org), how we use it, and the choices you have. We follow this policy because it's the right thing to do — and because California law (including the California Online Privacy Protection Act, CalOPPA) requires us to disclose our practices.
What we collect
We try to collect as little as possible. The information we may collect falls into a few categories:
- Contact information you give us. If you send a message through our contact form, inquire about a property, propose a partnership, or otherwise reach out, you may share your name, email address, the topic of your inquiry, and the contents of your message.
- Property leads. If you submit a foreclosure or property lead, we may collect the property details you provide along with your contact information so we can follow up.
- Analytics data. We may use a privacy-respecting analytics tool to count visits and understand which sections of the site are useful. It does not use cookies to track you across the web and does not collect personal information. No data is sold or shared with advertisers.
How we use it
- To respond to your inquiry or property lead.
- To evaluate potential acquisitions, partnerships, and tenant relationships.
- To understand site usage in aggregate so we can improve content and structure.
What we don't do
- We do not sell your personal information. Not to anyone, ever.
- We do not use behavioral advertising trackers, third-party cookies, or social media pixels.
- We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13 (compliance with COPPA). If you believe we have collected information from a minor, please contact us so we can delete it.
How profits and information flow
Robin Hood Homes is a for-profit subsidiary whose surplus is reinvested into our parent nonprofit, Strategic Solutions, Inc. We may share your inquiry with Strategic Solutions staff (including our shared point of contact) for the purpose of responding to you. We do not share your information with unrelated third parties except as required by law or with your consent.
Your rights as a California resident
California residents may request a copy of the personal information we have collected about them, request correction or deletion of that information, and opt out of certain uses. To make a request, email Luke@CaStrategicSolutions.org.
Do Not Track
Some browsers transmit "Do Not Track" signals. Because we do not engage in behavioral tracking, our practices are the same regardless of the signal.
Third-party services
This site links to a small number of third-party sites, including CaStrategicSolutions.org (our parent organization), real-estate listing pages such as Redfin, and public resources. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of sites we link to; we encourage you to read their policies.
Security
We use reasonable technical and operational safeguards to protect information you share with us. No method of internet transmission is 100% secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes
We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, post a notice on the site.
